On Sept. 28, Michael Gambon, actor of Albus Dumbledore in the “Harry Potter” series, passed away at 82 years old due to pneumonia.
Many children and adults grew up watching the “Harry Potter” series, either through the books or the movie franchise.
Gambon was an Irish actor, born in 1940. Besides taking over the role of Dumbledore in “Harry Potter,” Gambon was also cast into movies such as Paddington, Hail, Caesar! and The Casual Vacancy.
Daniel Radcliffe, who was cast as Harry Potter, shared with USA Today, “Michael Gambon was one of the most brilliant, effortless actors I’ve ever had the privilege of working with, but despite his immense talent, the thing I will remember most about him is how much fun he had doing his job.”
