Despite a three-game losing streak, the New York Jets have acquired former teammate of Aaron Rodgers, Wide Receiver Davante Adams.
The Raiders will receive a conditional third-round pick that can become a second-round pick based on performance. The Jets now must pick up the remaining $11.59 million on Adams’ deal.
The trade is one the Jets and Rodgers see as a great fit with the duo of Rodgers and Adams in their final four seasons together, Adams averaged 119 receptions, 1,463 receiving yards and 15 touchdowns per season.
The trade comes after the past week of trade rumors involving the receiver after reports of him being unhappy coming out of the Raiders facility. The Jets were supposedly top on Adams’ list of landing spots.
The hamstring injury that’s kept Adams on the sideline for the past three weeks is said to be in a good place.
