The Polar Express Train, a family favorite based on the classic holiday movie, “The Polar Express,” takes passengers on an hour-long trip to meet Santa. Once seated on the functioning train, passengers will be taken through the sounds of the motion picture soundtrack as they listen to actors retell the classic story of the Polar Express. The show also offers several ticket packages from Premium Departures — starting at $65 for children and $70 for adults — to table seating at $70 per seat.
Jacob Marley’s A Christmas Carol
Until Dec. 19, Jacob Marley’s “A Christmas Carol,” a spin-off of the Charles Dickens original, takes the stage at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts. Audience members are taken through the classic holiday tale of Ebenezer Scrooge and the Christmas ghosts of his past, present and future. Tickets are now on sale for $50.
The Nutcracker at the Adrienne Arsht Center
Watch Miami City Ballet’s wonderful production of “The Nutcracker” to celebrate the festive season with your loved ones. Watch as a brave little girl, Marie, receives a mysterious gift at a Christmas Eve party that changes her whole night. When the clock strikes 12, a magic spell begins as viewers follow Marie’s dream filled with toy soldiers and a difficult Mouse King. The stylish Nutcracker guides viewers through a sparkling forest of dancing snowflakes, and along the way, they befriend the Sugarplum Fairy and more in the Land of Sweets.
