On Oct. 15, Jake E. Lee, former guitarist for Ozzy Osbourne, was shot multiple times in the city of Las Vegas during a “completely random” attack.
Lee is a veteran guitarist who spent much time working with different bands. In the 1980s, Lee worked with Osbourne for several years and later founded the heavy metal groups, Badlands and Red Dragon Cartel in 2013, which he eventually led.
Lee had been shot during the early morning hours. Representatives say he was out at this time taking his dog for a walk. The police arrived while he suffered injury but remained fully conscious.
The 67-year-old musician currently resides in the Intensive Care Unit of a Las Vegas hospital. Although badly injured, Lee is expected to make a full recovery. Arrests have yet to be made as the investigation is still ongoing.
