On March 18, at 9 a.m, Miami Palmetto Senior High’s seniors who purchased a $50 ticket embarked on a journey to Zoo Miami for the beloved tradition of Senior Picnic. Each year, seniors pile into buses and make their way to the local zoo for a day of walking around, laughing with friends, appreciating animals and nature, eating lunch, festive treats and playing fun games. This year’s theme was “Survivor,” based on the hit T.V. show, and was shown in students' brightly colored bandanas, war paint and paw print tattoos, as well as the high-stakes scavenger hunt.
