On Feb. 1, Miami Palmetto Senior High hosted its 19th annual Mr. Panther, a male beauty pageant spotlighting some of the most charismatic Panthers on campus. This year, the theme “Boy Band Invasion” highighted five of history’s greatest bands: The Beatles, One Direction, Backstreet Boys, NSYNC and Boyz II Men. Participants were each organized into one of these bands. Mr. Panther consists of three categories: a swimsuit modeling contest, a question and answer session and a talent portion. Television Production and the Variations dance team work for months to produce the perfect choreography, lighting, pickup lines, outfits and music videos.
