Predicting the 59th Annual GRAMMY Awards

The nominees for the 59th annual Grammy awards were released on December 6 and features 83 categories filed under 30 different fields. 2016 was the year of new musical releases from highly anticipated artists like Beyonce and Drake. Beyonce’s highly grossing visual album Lemonade was nominated for 9 different Grammy awards, and artists like Drake and Kanye West trail closely behind with 8 nominations for their widely celebrated albums. The Grammys not only features musical albums from pop culture icons like Drake and Rihanna but also displays lesser known categories like music videos and classical compositions. The awards will take place at 8pm in Los Angeles and will be hosted by The Late Late Show host James Corden.
