The Gypsy Rose Blanchard case: a case that took the world by storm. Many had different opinions on the story, leading to a movie series, “The Act,” being directed about her life, in 2019. Since then, Blanchard’s prison release has been very anticipated, and on Dec. 28, 2023, she was free.
Her release has been a popular issue on many media platforms, especially since she and her husband, Ryan Scott Anderson, have been doing interviews, posting actively and sharing personal details about life since incarceration.
However, many people have been making negative slams about her husband. This was not taken lightly, as Blanchard made an Instagram post on Jan. 2, defending his name.
“I love you, and you love me. We do not owe anyone anything. Our family is who matters. If you get likes and good comments, great, if you get hate then whatever because THEY DON’T MATTER,” Blanchard said.
Blanchard has gained many fans since her release, making her transition back into reality a smooth ride. She has many plans, one being a Lifetime-produced documentary called “The Prison Confessions of Gypsy Rose Blanchard.” Even though “The Act” is already out, in the documentary Blanchard will play herself, rather than an actor.
The six-episode series will air on Friday at 8 p.m. ET. Episodes one and two have already been released.
